Research Interests

My interests span evolutionary and behavioral ecology. I study how animals make foraging decisions, and the consequences that their behavior has for the evolution of signals in the organisms they forage on. I work with Prof. Anna Dornhaus to study how pollinators learn about and choose between different floral signals. I also study Batesian mimicry, where an undefended prey (the mimic) evolves to resemble a defended one (the model) to dupe predators.
